    My new poem.
    My friend.
    I don't know what it is,
    That you saw in me.
    Said my love was a distraction,
    That you didn't really need.
    Somewhere in this time,
    I surely fell in love.
    Our lives intertwined,
    My angel from above.
    So I cried most every night,
    Knowing it must end.
    You didn't love as I did.
    I was "just a friend."
    I've always heard the saying,
    All good things must end.
    So I guess this is goodbye.
    Nice loving you...
    My friend.
