    Pressure testing gas lines
Need to test 7 new gas lines before inspection. However, would like to have it done Simultaneously. I have the compresor and 7 gauges. They are connected to 3/4" nipples
that is connected to the 11/2" lines. I undrestand that a manifold aperatus could be implemented. If so need the line items to acquire.
    Thank you

    Hi Joshua...

I'll tell you, I understand your thinking, but in the long run you may be better off setting up one test apparatus and then testing each 1.5" line individually. Here, if you have all gas lines connected together and you have a leak you willl have a greatly DECREASED chance of finding any leaks easily... ;) If you just test one line at a time and you have a leak the leak will easily be located. Of course, in my area each test needs to hold for a minimum of 10 minutes only... maybe you need to have your test last longer..?

I would set up a test apparatus with a gauge, a shrader valve and a shutoff valve then you can just run to each new gas line and attach using an 1.5" x3/4" reducing coupling and test away.

If that doesn't float your boat then you could certainly connect all the pipes together and just hookup the one test apparatus to test all. Then, at a minimum, you can return all those other test guages... :)

Let me know what you think here...
