    State taxes
    I had a friend file my federal and state taxes. I received my federal. She said she filed my state taxes on the April deadline. She didn't give me the about of the refund, so I was trying to see if it was filed

    Contact the state tax authorities; you can get the phone number from the state government website.

    If you give them your SSN, they can tell you if the return has been filed.
