Hi. I'm a 15 year old girl and my parents recently adopted my 14 year old cousin. She comes from a bad home and we adopted her because her mother is schizophrenic. She has been living with us for 5 months now, we are debating on whether to let her stay because there has been many things happening with her that has us on a tick. I have a strong feeling that she's obsessed with me. Not so long ago, she'd want to do everything I did, wear exactly what I wear, she'd talk exactly like how I speak, listen to everything id listen, if I were to use my phone to text a friend, she's always looking at what I'm texting, she doesn't believe in privacy between us, but she hides everything from us. Her mother was not only schizophrenic but she also was a sex addict. And we already know she might have that carried with her. But this is what worries me the most. Whenever I'm doing my hair or getting ready to go out, she looks at everything I do, and she does it herself. At the beginning I thought it was because she just looks up to me, and admires me. But it has gone way too far. I found a paper where she was speaking to herself and she was telling herself not to be like me, no matter how bad she wants to BE me, she has to force herself not to. I have another 15 year old cousin and they spend quite some time together, and my cousin tells me that whenever I'm not in the room, she just can't stop talking about me, but she speaks about me with this frustration that she can't give in, and if I enter the room, she acts so sweet. I am a fine looking young girl or so I would say to the amount of young men who want to be with me, but it isn't my fault. And ever since then I know she's had jealousy and maybe that's why she wants to be like me? I really don't know. I need so much help, because I've seen many cases like these where people become obsessed with another person and they want to harm themselves or that person. She loves me so much and I sometimes get scared at the fact that she does, but then she hates me with this burning passion. My friends even say that shed be a perfect substitute for me because she acts, talks, everything she does is JUST LIKE ME! I need someone's help, mayday, mayday.

I think you are becoming a bit obsessed with this whole idea yourself. Relax and just do what you do and ignore her. You are overthinking this way too much.

Well for one, her mothers schizophrenic and her mother was obsessed with a man back where they used to live. And I know it may sounds like a childish game but my mothers getting really skeptical. Like for example, john lennon. He was killed by a fan who was so in love and obsessed with him. If only you saw the way she looked, even less talked about me. She's said it before many times that I can't leave her mind and I've woken up a couple of times to her just staring at me.. she would hurt herself as well to get my attention.. its weird, and if I confront her, she just doesn't care she can't stop herself. Its serious.
