    Lost my rights
    Im 21 and will be 22 next month I lost my son 3and a half years ago and I lost my rights 2 years ago for smoking weed! Wat can I do too show them I changed? This was when I was 17 ill be 22 next month been clean for 1 year and 1/2 and I'm ready too fight for my son

    First, ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

    Second, you need to be sure of what actually happened. It is rare that a person's parental rights are terminated. But if your son has been adopted out, or even if he has been in the foster care system for more than a year. It is unlikely you can gain custody.

    The caseworker who handled the case should have explained to you what you can do to get your son back. And talking to the caseworker is your best bet.

    4, was it social services, was child put in foster care ?
