What rights do I have if I lost my parental rights?
My parental rights were terminated. My daughters aunt adopted her without my knowledge. My daughter is now being abused could I step in and become a defacto parent and get custody of my daughter?

Is this a trick question? If you lost your rights you don't have rights.

Were you given notice of the hearing at which your rights were terminated?

First, ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area. Second, are you the mother or father? Third, you need to give us more details. Like, how do you know the aunt adopted your daughter? How do you know she is being abused?

But the bottom line here is, if she was adopted, then you have no rights. If she is being abused, you report it to your local Children's services agency. And then get an attorney to try and get the adoption overturned.
