    Unlikely that she can.

Once parental rights are severed, it's usually permanent.

If she has a REALLY good lawyer, sometimes it can be overturned--but she's got to have good reason for missing that court date.

Also--parental rights are generally NOT severed for missing court. That can be a final straw, but just not being in court isn't enough reason to sever rights.

What ELSE did your mother do to lose her parental rights? What's the whole story?

Well First nothing was her falt my dad took my brothers and sisters and I away from our mother, years went by and our dad didn't let us see her.
My dad started hurting uys kids and we went through foster care system,
The court send her a letter but she wasn't living in the current address. So she couldn't make it, one day she went to her moms house and her mom gave her the letter as she soon found out that we were in foster care she called and they said that they were sorry but her rights has been terminated,,
We were woundering if she gave the court some paper work saying that she wasnet living at the address much longer,,

No, it isn't completely your dad's fault. Where was she when he "took" you guys away? Why didn't she go to court to fight for her rights then? That would have been the time for her to go to court and try to get custody back or at least visitation ordered. He then could have been held in contempt if he didn't comply with the order. Like said above, rights aren't terminated just because someone doesn't get one notice. The fact that she hadn't made contact in anyway in years was a contributing factor as well. I know she is your mother and you haven't seen her in a very long time and you want her to look like the good guy but I'm guessing you don't know the entire story because I know my husband wouldn't just be able to take my kids away from me and I not ever see them again. There is more to this story even if you don't know all of the parts to it.
