    Trane XR80 fan runs contantly even with system off
    The fan motor runs constantly. Normally the fan will go off when the On/Auto fan position on the thermostat is in the Auto position. I replaced the thermostat and nothing changed.

    It's the relay switch or the contactor switch that needed changed not the thermostat.
