Trane XR80: Furnace fan keeps running
I have Trane XR 80 model gas heater. For last week or so, fan keeps running even after reaching the set temperature. Its switching off the heater but fan keeps running. Not sure how to debug this issue. I tried changing the thermostat but no change.
I could'nt find the manual online for this model. Can someone *** shed some light on how to debug before calling service person. Thanks in advance |

Sorry in my last question I forgot to list the model of trane I have. Its Trane XR80 and the furnace cuts on and off a few seconds apart. The red light blinks 2 times. Any suggestions? Cold air here
What does the blinking light on a Trane XR80 furnace mean? And how do I fix it?
My Trane XR80 furnace is only blowing cold air. The diagnostic light is bllinking 6 times which, I think, means the 115 volt polarity is reversed. Is this something I can fix or do I need a repairman?
