Ex has 4 children but only wanting to sign over the rights to 1... is it possible?
My ex-fiance and I have 1 child together, but he also has 3 other girls with his ex wife. He keeps threatening to sign over his rights to my daughter only who is 3 months old. Is it possible for him to sign over rights to one child but not the other 3?

I want him to pay it... but I didn't know if anyone else has come across this problem.

It's not possible for him to sign over his rights PERIOD! I don't know where people are getting this idea that they can't just wash their hands of a child they gave life to.

Only a court can terminate a parent's rights and courts will not do so, except in very limited circumstances. So, unless you remarry and your new husband wants to adopt, he will not be allowed to relinquish his rights.

Next time he makes this threat, laugh in his face and tell him to consult an attorney before he makes empty threats.

Okay that is what I thought... he just made me second guess myself when it came to that. I knew it wouldn't be easy for him but anyway thank you! You gave me the extra positive thinking I needed!
