    Late period & negative test
    Hello Everyone My Name Is Jessica And My Husband And I Have Been Trying To Concive For About Two Years We Have Had No Luck, But My Period Is Very Late About 12 Days To Be Correct. I Took A Pregnancy Test Today It Was Negative Why??

    It's hard to say. With a period that late you should go to the doctor to get a blood test.

    How old are you?

    Have you ever been on any form of birth control? If so, what kind and for how long?

    I hate to answer questions with questions, but I need to get the whole picture before I can give advice.

    If your periods have normally quite regular, could be your cycle is just off this month. Depending on when you can get into the doctor's, see what happens in the next few days. If still no period, try another test. Obviously your doctor will do a test at the visit. Could possibly be pregnant... sometimes a positive result doesn't show up on a urine test for several weeks.
