Just want to thank everyone. It has now been 9 days since the big breakup and finally I am starting to feel better. I went out on a date last night with a girl, who on paper, was a lot better than my ex. But I couldn't totally get into it... just too soon. But I am feeling much better. I have been exercising A LOT. Played Tennis for 3 hours straight yesterday and go to the gym every time I start feeling down. She emailed, called and SMSed on Monday because it was my birthday and she clearly felt bad and wanted to give me a chance for one last romp in bed. I SMSed her and thanked her for the birthday wishes, but I will not be contacting her again. I have put all her pictures away and put all her old emails to me in a special folder. Every time I catch myself thinking about her, I quickly change the subject. I am uncovering more and more things about her that I didn't like but was too loveblind to realize. That helps too. But the biggest thing that I am discovering is that there are a lot of great people out there (including many on this site--how I wish it were possible to meet some of the girls on this site--) and this experience has helped me realize what kind of people I want to be with.
