I'm a 23 year old sexually active with my partner I had my periods for seven days like usual then 2 weeks later I had them again for 3 days but only really light then 3 or 4 days later I had a pinky brown discharge for 3 days then it stopped for a day n it came back n it was like a pinky Goldy brown colour but not discharge like it was a very light period I have had lower back pain n my abdominal has been a little sore not much n my boobs r also a bit sore any suggestions on what could be wrong please help

No we weren't

I am on a birthcontrol pill but I have forgotten to take it a few times n taken it a few hours late as well n we do have.unprotected sex a fair bit

Just a few hours late on the pill doesn't matter... you still effectively took it that day. 12 hours late is something else, forgetting it that day is something else.

However with that said... the Pill is NOT 100% effective... you can still get pregnant though its not very likely.

As proof of that we have several prominent members who got pregnant despite using 2 or more forms of birth control at the same time.. and one of those was the pill.

Freaking out and panicing will adversely effect the regularity of your periods. E.G. worry constantly about getting pregnant, and you are far more likely to be late than on time.
