    How to loose 8 kilos in a week?
    I weigh 57 kilos and I'm 10!! My height is 5'5. I'm really fat!! I really want to get down to 50 kilos before I start school which is February the third and it's the 17 of jan today. *** help me!

    There's no healthy way to drop that much weight in that amount of time.

    If you feel you want to lose weight I'd first speak to your parents, and get them to take you to your doctor. Your doctor can do some tests, and he/she can give you the best advice on dieting and exercise. It's not a good idea to start a diet or exercise routine without seeing your doctor.

    Ah sweetie, I'm really sorry but as Altenweg says, there is no healthy way to do this. You can lose some weight though, if you're careful and don't to anything silly. This article has some useful tips:

    As mentioned above, you should talk to your parents about this, and please if you are trying to lose weight do it sensibly - diets don't work, you need to cut out bad foods and take reasonable exercise.

    You can lose some weight before you go back to school, don't worry, and remember, everyone puts weight on at this time of year, we all over eat at Christmas.

    Suck the fat out? Liposuction, because there isn't any 'healthy' way to lose that much in a week.

    Hey Sweetie...
    Firstly, beauty is within the heart and soul...
    There is not quick solution to losing weight... but there is hope for you, because you are still very young and you are still growing... which means some of that weight which is otherwise known as baby fat, will stretch as you grow.

    I have a little girl who is 11 and is concerned about her weight too.
    But for her it is because she is on medication.
    So we are both working on reducing her medication, increasing her exercising and eating healthy.
    But for you, you have to ask yourself why you are over weight.
    Is it because maybe you are not eating healthy...
    I guess since you are only 10 you are too young to cook your own meals, and you have to eat whatever your parents serve you up. Or they buy whatever chunk food you want because you ask.
    Perhaps your parents do not know what is healthy eating.
    Maybe you can go to the library at your school and do some research and find out what is healthy to eat and what is not.
    And then you can help teach your parents gently and very carefully as to what is good for your body and what is not. Just think you will be helping them too.
    Go food shopping with them and pick out food YOU want to eat, choose your breakfast cereal etc.
    Someone in your family has to take the responsibility to change as to what they eat...
    Because wrong food makes you over weight.
    Perhaps you have to take the responsibility and educate and teach your parents and perhaps you can start by taking an interest in cooking in the kitchen... but make sure it is good healthy food, recipes from good cooks, which means lots of vegetables, and fruit. No deep frying food in fatty oils.
    And if you go out for fast food, try for Subways or Boost Juice for starters is better than MacDonalds or KFC, or Hungary Jacks... Otherwise a grilled chicken on a salad bun or in a wrap is a better choice with orange juice and with only "small fries"... NO upgrades.
    Hope this advice helps you little one...

    Do the right thing by your body and in return it will look after you. Love it and respect it, which means YOU must accept and love yourself, no matter what other people think. YOU are the only one who can really only take care of your body.

    Cut the carbs :D No rice. NONE, whatsoever. 1-2 slices of bread(THIN ONES)/day.
    Eat as much fiber as possible. That means vegetable. I think I lived 2 days on eggplant salad only :D, ask people how to make it, don't try on your own. Hmm.. so yeah.. beans, no meat. Meat gets you fat, it's true. Eat little meat, only once/week. No sweets. Fruits are OK, but no bananas, oranges and mango. Low fat cheese is good, but just taste it, don't eat much cheese. It's good if you can use a calcium suplement while doing this. Diets can lower your calcium and it's a bit dangerous, but if you use a suplement , then that part can be covered. It's just safety measure until you reach your goal weight.
    Another thing which is crucial: CHEW SLOW! Take slow and small bites and chew slow, enjoy your food. The feeling of satiation will notice you that you have had enough food this way.
    Don't cry or stress. Keep a balanced mind and take relaxing baths.
    Sports are not that relevant for this kind of diet, as I lost 8 kg in a week myself by just sitting at the computer, but if you want to run and stuff, it's good. 'd much rather recommend sauna or swimming. :D

    Please remember that this child is only 10 years old, and telling a child of that age to cut out meat, and follow a very dangerous diet with no exercise, is not only unrealistic, but harmful advice.
