I am pretty weird.
I used to go around bus stops and look for change- one time I ended up with $20 after a day of scouting. I haven't done this since I had my daughter [she's two now] but I always keep my eye out for that shiny quarter laying around somewhere- maybe this summer I'll take her out for some nice "walks" :p
I once saw this guy at a laundry mat carrying this magnetic object which he put under the machines which collected coins- I was impressed.
I also like to make scenarios up [for fun], for example:
Me [to my husband]: "What if you were walking down the street and this old lady with an elephant came up to you and offered you a ride, and the elephant would take you anywhere and anytime but in exchange you'd have to give up your left eyebrow"
Husband: "Umm..." [walks away slowly]
I know I do more weird things but I can't put my finger on them since it seems normal to me... I'll have to ask my husband- he's normal, whatever normal means.

MUD,
That was the funniest story! It takes a pretty weird person to even come off the cuff like that!
Thanks for making me laugh! :P

Speaking of Tio, there was a Korean woman I used to work with. She always showed up for work in spotless clothes and polished white shoes... We worked in a kitchen. She also always won really big at the horse races and spoke perfect, accentless English even though she was raised in Korea.
Anyway, nothing pointless ever came out of her mouth and there are two things she said that stick with me: "It's never enough" (money) and, "just keep going" (when you feel overwhelmed by the work in front of you) Thanks, Soon Young.

Glad I could put a smile on your face even if that was just a sample ;)

That is something I will have to start chanting to myself at work.

Thanks Ex!
One thing I have noticed is that I tend to correct grammatical errors when others are talking, sometimes out loud, but mostly in my head.
Often happens when the conversation is in our native language.

Hello again, firm:
Yeah, you and Wondergirl! She dreams about apostrophe's (like the one that should or shouldn't be here - I never know). But, I knew you'd come around and admit your weirdness.

Washing the pan isn't what I think is weird. It's paying tribute to the long dead Tio, whom I knew nothing about beyond his dishwashing prowess.
What's even weirder is that I remember his name. I can't remember the peoples names I met yesterday.

I got to think about my weird thing a little and I'll get back to you. I'm 51 yrs. Old so I know I've got them.
What struck me most about your post is this. All through our lives certain people or certain events, strike us hard. It can be a very insignificant saying or gesture that means nothing really, but to us, for whatever reason, it sticks. Just this morning, a friend reminded me of something I told her more than 25 yrs ago, that she always says to herself. I don't even remember saying it, but she refers to it all the time. We never know when we are going to effect or even change some one's life. A little lesson? Make sure it is for the better.:)

I do that ALL THE TIME. I can't stand it when someone conjugates a verb incorrectly.

I can't stand wearing anything to bed that isn't slippery. Don't laugh, I know what you are thinking. It isn't that. My PJs have to be the kind of silky material that don't bind you up in bed to the point where you can't roll over or move around properly. If I don't have them, I don't sleep. I guess this isn't weird enough though.
OK, here's another one. If I get held up coming home by a train at a crossing it is usually the GO train (the express passenger along the lake between Ottawa and Oshawa). When I do I always say out loud "the 3:10 to Yuma". It got to be a habit... I give up.

Ex being weird
[ 4 Answers ]
OK I guess that I'll have to start from the begging... My ex-boyfriend and I were dating for 2 years and he randomly decided to dump me in the middle of a horrible snow storm. The day before the breakup everything was perfect. It seems he just snapped overnight for no reason. He said that he did...

Would you guys think it would be weird if your (male) boss put his hands on either side of your thighs like... in line with that crease of the top of your leg and butt, but from like behind you..
Like you were standing in front of him and to the left, and he was sort of squatted down diagonally...

I think a secret route behind my house is haunted. Its really really old and wrecked and one time I saw somebody in there I didn't see his face, but I think he heard me coming because he ran away I went back there later and there was a rope hanging from a tree to a fence and the fence was all...
Something weird
[ 5 Answers ]
For a while now, every once in a while, while I'm walking, I'll feel kind of weird. My vision gets blurry and a bit flashy, and I have trouble keeping my balance. This usually lasts about 5 seconds or so and only happens about once every 3 weeks. Today, the same thing happened, but this time it...
