OK I guess that I'll have to start from the begging... My ex-boyfriend and I were dating for 2 years and he randomly decided to dump me in the middle of a horrible snow storm. The day before the breakup everything was perfect. It seems he just snapped overnight for no reason. He said that he did not want to try to work things out, and he did not give me a reason for what he did. Everyone around us noticed a huge change in him, even some of his friends were willing to agree with me that they too noticed change in him. Teachers started to ask me what was wrong (His grades dropped and he wasn't turning any work in), and when I told them what had happened, they were shocked. It is now over a month later and he has been making up ridiculous rumors about me that no one believes. He is also acting completely different with each person he is with (for example:He loves a band when he is with a friend, but when he was with me he hated that same band with a passion). I can't figure out what is wrong (I know it's not drugs because his dad got him tested right after he broke up with me*he thought he was on them because he couldn't understand what he did either*) And it's defiantly not another girl(I know this for sure)... He gives me extremely hateful looks in the hallways at school, but in some way I sense a sadness as well. I have completely ignored him for a month, and I'm thinking maybe this is where his hatred is coming from.. Perhaps he wants attention from me so he can say "shes stalking me!" or something like that.. I don't know what to think, I am completely out of ideas.. So some new ones could help...

For what ever reason his behavior has changed, along with his attitude toward you, maybe its time to back off, and move in another direction. What ever his issues, he chooses not to share. Not a lot you can do with that.

I understand what you are saying, but its kind of hard to "go in a different direction" when he's prank calling you every day, has all of the same classes with you (next year is our last and we are both signed up for the same classes, and I'm not changing them), tells everyone in the school he broke up with me because I was a lesbian (I'm nowhere near), and there is so much more... Ive let go a long time ago, he is holding on, even though he is the one who broke up with me...

Ballie don't let the childish rumors bother you. I had a rumor going around my freshman year of high school that I was gay, started by a girl that I had hooked up with over the summer one time. Don't even bother trying to set the record straight as their options don't matter. For the record, that rumor lasted for a whole 2 weeks, people will always kill to see someone else fall. Don't give him or them the power, just play the rumors off. It will be gone in a month, tops.

Ignore his childess antics, and focus on you, and what makes you happy. Others will see what a flake he is.
