    Toilet still running
    We can hear running water 24/7.
    We don't have to hold down handle anymore.
    Would appreciate advice.
    Do we have to replace ballcock?:

    I don't think so. Describe the sound. Is it water from the ballcock that's running over into the white overflow tube? Is it water seeping out of the tank into the bowl? Click back with more details. Regards, Tom

I think I need to replace the 'float' system in the toilet. It appears, after filling, the float is not shutting off the water. I try to manually raise the float higher, but this does not work. While this is not a costly repair, could it be anything else?
