    My toilet keeps running. I take the lid of the tank off and mess with the float and it turns off. What do I need to adjust to fix the problem?

    You need to bend the float rod down. Do not grab the float ball to do this but with one hand ahead of the float ball and the other at the connection of the rod and ballcock bend the rod down. That should do it but if it doesn't the ballcock needs to be replaced. Good luck Tom
