On the right side of the toilet is a through bolt, a bushing and a clip. The bucket sits down on the clip. If the bolt loosens or breaks, the trough flips over. Not enamored with this type of toilet as I have seen trough issues before. This is the same as a Glacier Bay toilet from Home Depot so you may be able to see how the parts fit together by visiting them.

Water closet style toilet needs to be disconnected [ 1 Answers ]

My old-fashioned water-closet toilet (the kind with the tank high on the wall overhead and a pull-chain flush) needs to be disconnected so a new floor can be laid. The tile layer doesn't know how to move this type of toilet, even though it's a repro and not really old, and he is afraid he'll mess...

Toilet Tank has a internal "bucket" that drips [ 10 Answers ]

My toilet tank has a "bucket" in it that turns and empties when I flush, I assume this is a water conservation thing as it is a 1.6 gpf toilet. I think the bucket is not level, it is dripping from one side. I tried to level the whole tank but it started dripping from the tank to toilet connection....
