My Niagara flapless toilet's hinge has become disconnected from the trough or bucket on the right (handleless) side of the tank, how can I repair this?

On the right side of the toilet is a through bolt, a bushing and a clip. The bucket sits down on the clip. If the bolt loosens or breaks, the trough flips over. Not enamored with this type of toilet as I have seen trough issues before. This is the same as a Glacier Bay toilet from Home Depot so you may be able to see how the parts fit together by visiting them.
