Do you have to pay a depoit if they don't tell you about it
I am looking into renting to buy a mobile in a park. My coworker owns the mobile, but its in a park and you must be approved by them before you can buy it and move in. when I went to turn in my application for credit and background check. I asked before I paid the background check fee. It says on the application there is a deposit . Well I asked if there was a deposit so I could fill that part out. They guy that we gave the apps too told us ''don't worry about it.'' we got approve for the place. So I went of the first to go and make the first rental payment and finish the papers. They guy told me he had to make a phone call first and then we needed to come back tomorrow to fill out the papers and we also needed a $460 deposit too.

Can any one help. Any answers I'm in Washington

You fell for 'don't worry about it' when it clearly stated that there was going to be a deposit, and you should have demanded that it be written in and initialed.
I would as calmly as possible go over there and reason with them that you are thinking of backing out, that you feel that you were not treated forthrightly, and that you want something in writing that specifies exactly what this 'deposit' is for. Don't take anyone's verbal promises in real estate.

I learned this 40 years ago, when I signed for car insurance before the form had been filled out. Still to this day I find this sort of thing happening; it happened with homeowner's insurance last summer. We live and learn, constantly.

As always, my colleague, "Joy," is 100% correct. You are bound by the contract. All of the terms and conditions MUST be in writing... or they don't exist. That includes statements and promises.
