    Intertherm electric thermostat settings
We just moved into a house with electric heating and on the settings for the thermostat it reads 2,4,6,8,10 and so on... What are the degrees they stand for?

    Thanks,

    Henry

They don't appear to match a temperature scale - seems like stages from low to high. Try putting a thermostat in the room and record temperatures when the unit cuts out.

I know of no way to answer your question except to tell you to hang a thermometer in the room and adjust the numbers until you are comfy with the heat setting
It would depend on the size of each room and the insulation as to what it would take to heat it
