I've Just Had A Kohler Vessel Sink Installed That Has No Overflow. Also Installed A Delta Faucet And Drain. The Sink Will Not Drain Until You Swirl The Water Around Where The Drain Gets Air. Called Kohler, And Of Course They Said It Needed A Kohler Drain. Called Delta.. they Said This Drain Won't Work With A Sink With No Overflow. Just Had These Installed On A New Countertop, So I Need To Find A Solution Using Existing Sink, Faucet, Etc. How Can I Solve The Air Problem Without Changing Items That Are Already In Place?

This is the drain assembly I recommend for vessel sinks.

The flip top allows for a wider drain opening.

    I agree with Growler,

The flip top drain gives better venting then a strainer one.
