I'm working on old apartment building.. trying to replace old sayco diverter stem.the newer one I bought at a plumbing house look like a perfect match but when I install part of the water still flows out tub spout when it is diverted to shower.. not many moving parts... hard to see where problem...

I am replacing seats and stems in tub/shower. The old one is Sterling--the new faucet set it a PricePfister. The PF diverter stem doesn't fit into the seat (the hot and cold stems do). Can I go to another size diverter with PF? View more questions Search
