Ask Me Help Desk - Dumped by girlfriend. PLEASE HELP?

Yeah we have been going out for 2 years 2 months, and all of a sudden things change. Her dad found out that we were having intercourse and he didn’t like it (I’m 19 and she’s 18) so he banned her from seeing me and she has to break up with me cause of this case. I know it was going to be a short break and we will get back together in time, but after a week her nan died and she decided that she don’t want me anymore, she just want to be friends, and this is where I got hurt really bad, I keep asking myself I never deserve this.

I gave everything to her, all my love I gave it to her, everything that she wants I buy it, and I even gave her a promise ring (promise that I will love her till time ends) and its worth quite a lot. I just don’t understand why this is happening after all the good times we had. I love her so much and I want her back. But she keeps telling me she wants to be alone and don’t want a relationship and she just want to be friends with me..
What should I do please help?
Plus I don’t just want that 2 years and 2 months go down the drain. I love her so much and I want to know if there’s still chance if we can get back together.

Please I need some advice. What to do, and what to expect?

Don't expect to come here with an irrational problem, and expect an irrational answer, there's no way you both can be together, a relationship takes two my friend. The only thing you can do is move on and let go. It's not what you want to hear, but it's the rational answer.

She doesn't want to be with you and she made it clear, so stop hurting yourself and move on too. Don't become friends that's not a good idea, just go no contact and never speak to her again. It will help you move on easier.

Get out keep your mind busy, stay active, try some new things and stay close to friends. Eventually this hurt will go away, and you will get better and you will be happy again. Time is your friend, and he will help you heal.

Just respect her wishes. If you truly loved her you would accept her decision, and ultimately if you loved her you would listen to her, be a friend and be understanding.

Relationships are based on love, respect, commitment and communication.

Realtionships are never based on sex. Also, they can not be based on how much you spend on her. YOU CAN NOT BUY LOVE!!

I must point out that you are being a bit selfish by saying "...dis is where i got hurt really bad, i keep asking myself i never deserve this..". The fact is that family are important and they come first, and rightly so. She needs to spend time with her family at this time so she can keep the peace and grieve with them. She can't disrespect her family just to please you sexually.

How can you not understand this?!

She has communicated with you clearly about what she wants when you say "she keeps telling me she wants to be alone and dnt want a relationship and she just want to be friends with me". Just listen to what she is saying because that is effective communication!

Overall, be her friend and not her lover because she will admire you and respect you for this. Respect her wishes and leave her family to grieve.
