    Hot Water Pump Flow Activation
I have a technical query regarding hot water pumps.
I live in a flat which is now using a Salamander pump.
There is a hot water tank on the floor feeding up to a Salamander pump and a cold water tank above that. The Salamander pump is replacing a techflow pump that was in the same position but broke down.
We have three hot water outlets, a bathroom tap, shower and kitchen tap. Now the Salamander pump has been installed, upon opening the hot water taps, only a trickle comes out. If we turn on more than one tap, the pump activates. The shower can turn on on its own if we place the shower head on the floor, but when we place it at head height the pump cuts out again. What I understand of this problem is that there is not enough flow coming through the pump in order to keep the flow switch open. Is there anyway to rectify this or improve the flow?
