No hot water coming from hot water tap after installing new shower pump
    Hello

I installed a new shower pump today. After completing the installation and turning the water back on, there is no water running from any hot water tap in the house.

Do you think I have an airlock? Any other possibilities? I have tried to get rid of the airlock with the 'length of hose' trick and trying to blast cold water down the hot tap, but so far this has not worked.

Any help will be gratefully received.

Air locks are like muffler bearings, they don't exist. Can you hear and feel the pump to make sure it runs?

I have not yet turned the pump on, as on the instruction manual it says that both hot and cold water should run through the pump before switching it on.

The pump should not affect the hot water should it?

    Thanks for your help

When I open the faucets I get a trickle of water and then it stops. Main shut off is fully open.
