Negative test and ultrasound! No movement in uterus unless you are 3-4 months. pregnant. When was last period and when expected? Unprotected sex? Probably just hormonal imbalance.

You stated that you had a positive pregnancy test. When, and what kind of pregnancy test? How long since you've had a period? When was the ultrasound performed, how long after the positive pregnancy test? Are your periods regular?

Since I see that you went off line after I posted, I'll try to answer your question with the very limited information you've given.

Movement in pregnancy, especially a first pregnancy, is not felt until around the 20th week of gestation. If you had a recent ultrasound, and you've been feeling movement, and the ultrasound showed no signs of a fetus, then I'm sorry, but you're not pregnant.

If you had the ultrasound early in pregnancy, before the 5th week, it's very possible that nothing was seen on ultrasound, even if you are pregnant.

As for your other symptoms, they mean nothing when diagnosing pregnancy. All those symptoms, even the movement you say you're feeling, can be attributed to other things, especially after an ultrasound showed no fetus.

Having said that, if you had a positive pregnancy test, and you're feeling movement (which would put you at around 20 weeks gestation, half way through the pregnancy), and the first ultrasound was early on, and you continue to have positive pregnancy tests, no periods, since then, then I'd request another ultrasound.

Have you only had the one pregnancy test? If so when did you test, and when was this ultrasound? That information would give us more to go by.

Well I don't like feeling like this if I'm not pregnant it's the worst feeling in the world so there's nothing I can do about this just continue feeling pregnant when I'm not and always nauseated

If you could answer the questions I asked, that would really help me give you a better answer.

When was your last period? When did you test and get a positive? When did you have an ultrasound done? Let's start with those questions and then go from there.

Again you logged off with no reply. We can't help you if you won't give us the information that will allow us to do so.

    So my answer has changed.

You live with feeling pregnant when you're not, or you go to a doctor and find out what's going on. Your choice.

    Good luck.

Providing answers to Alty's questions can help tremendously. I'd also ask what the concern is with your kidneys and how long has it been an issue, as much of what you have experienced could be related.

Also, how long have you been trying to conceive and have you experienced possible pregnancy symptoms before?

So the ultrasound was done yesterday, and no fetus was found?

Sorry, but if that's the case, you're not pregnant.

Time to talk to your doctor about these symptoms and find out what could be going on.

    Good luck. :)

Could this all be in your head?

I know many women that once they're trying to conceive, convince themselves that every headache, every moment of nausea, ever second their period is late, every bout of gas (causing a feeling of movement in the stomach), is due to pregnancy, even though they're not pregnant.

If your OBGYN doesn't know, and isn't willing to run tests in order to find out, I'd get a new OBGYN! If he doesn't know, he should find out! That's what doctors are supposed to do. Sorry, but that just ticks me off. He doesn't know, but he's not willing to run tests to find out? What are you paying him for? If these symptoms are ruining your life as much as you say they are, you need to find out what's going on.

Sadly, with your last period date, and the time of your ultrasound, you're not pregnant. As I said, movement isn't felt until around the 20th week of gestation. At 20 weeks your fetus would be seen on ultrasound, not doubt about it. If your last period was in July, and the ultrasound was yesterday, the fetus would be seen on ultrasound. No fetus at this point in time, means no pregnancy. I'm so sorry if that sounds harsh, it's not meant to, and I feel for you more than you can possibly know.

I wish we could help more, but there's really no way to tell you what's going on. Either your OBGYN or your regular family doctor, need to be the ones to run tests to find out why you're feeling this way since it's not due to a pregnancy.

I wish you the best of luck.

Have they done tests of hormone levels, CT scans, to see of other problems.
Perhaps, the question or appointment should be to find out, why no monthly cycle and why body changes

I would like to add that having kidney problems (you haven't mentioned what problems you are having), would place you in a very high risk category for pregnancy. It would be advisable to get an approval for pregnancy from your nephrologist so as to have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

The symptoms you are experiencing can be caused by many things. Feeling movement in your abdomen could be caused by peristalsis. Simple movement of the intestines as food moves through the gut is just one idea. As has been said, if you were pregnant, it would have shown on an ultrasound.

Depending on the kidney issue, the symptoms can be related even if you haven't experienced them before. Phantom pregnancy is a possibility, which can have very real symptoms.

Id ask your gyn about having further testing done since you haven't had a period since July. May I ask your age? Have you always had regular cycles until recently?

I am 21 years old and no the only test that my OBGYN has done was an ultrasound that's it and with my kidney I had a stent inserted in 2003 because it wasn't functioning correctly and when I went for a follow up my kidney doctor said my kidney was fine then I started having problems again a couple of years ago and here and there and now every time I try to get my kidney scan I can't because they do a pregnancy test and says I'm pregnant but every time I go to my damn OBGYN HE CAN NEVER HELP ME OR KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WITH MY BODY BECAUSE HE ALWAYS SAY THAT I'M NOT PREGNANT IN HIS OFFICE! And since I've been off birth control for a year my cycles has been like it suppose too till now when it's time for my menstrual cycle I will just spot light nothing more and have morning sickness

And hell I wish this was all in my head but no this real life I just came from the hospital

Are you getting positive blood tests or positive urine tests?

There are certain conditions that can cause a false positive such as a chemical pregnancy, trophoblastic disease, islet cell rumors, and even some medications can cause fale positives.
