    Is it safe to have unprotected sex after 21 days of taking diane pill? I'm not actually sure if I have taken them correctly because the remaining pills are more than one than what I expect and counted. I'm not as consistent as takign the pills. I sometimes miss tablet but take them within 112hrs as soon as I remebered. I'm palnning to have sex oN Sunday and Friday is my last day of taking the pill. Saturday is the start of the tablet free interval

    Use condoms... most birth control pills aren't at their effective level (none are 100% effective) until a full monthy cycle has passed while on them.

    The birth control pill, none of them, are always 100% effective 100% of the time. Pregnancy is always a possibility when sex is involved no matter the birth control form used.

    Considering you have only been taking them for a relatively short period, and have been not been taking them as directed, your chances of pregnancy are a bit higher than if you took them appropriately.

    Since you are planning on having sex, it would be wise of you to use a secondary form of birth control such as a condom.
