I had 1 posative and 3 negative pregancy test
Hi I was hoping someone can shed some light...
Well on Friday I took a test witch came up negative,, all over the weekend I have felt rotten and on Monday nearly collaped in work (final straw)... Went home to book appointment with the doc to realise I had a spare test upstair so I took it to rule pregnancy out when ho and beload is say "PREGNANT"
1-2 WEEKS this is with a CB digital one.
IM all excited go docs yesterday had another one there NEGATIVE, so 2 Hours later takes a cheap one negative and another 3 hours later take a CB digital one witch said not pregnant...
Now I'm panacing thinking I'm not and have been referred to midwife for tomorrow...
Can anyone tell me what this means
?? Thank you

Did you bother to read the instruction in the package of the tests? I think you didn't.
ALL of these tests MUST, with an emphasis on MUST be taken, first thing in the morning, right after you wake up. The first time you pee that day.
You then MUST read them ONLY within the time frame specified, Not hours later (where you will get a false positive). And you don't take them at random times of the day (where you will most likely get false negatives).
You also could have a doctors office run a blood test, which is more sensitive.....and can be done at any time of the day.

How late are you. When did you miss your last period.
Most tests, really need to be done, after you are at least two week late. If you have not missed a period yet, it is early to test.
Also, the tests need to be done, first thing in the morning, as soon as you wake up, with first urine of the day, for best test results.
If done properly, and you did not wait too late to read it, seldom, seldom, do you ever get a false positive. But getting false negative, is common.

While false positives are rare, they do happen. It is now time for a blood test.

Pregnancy cannot be diagnosed by symptoms. The symptoms you are experiencing could be related to any number of things.

IF that was the case I could be pregnant, but I know I am not. My testicles imply that. The typical "Pregnancy symptoms" all have more then one cause which means that you can't say that your sore breasts mean you're pregnant because that could be hormones of a coming period. Your tiredness could be due to exhaustion and stress, especially when deal with a pregnancy scare. The morning sickness can be bad sushi. You get the picture. A test at your doctor's should clear it up.
Be thankful that you've got modern medicine to help you here, as much as 60 years ago, your grandma, you had to guess. Did you miss your period because you're stressed or knocked up. Hmmmm... Just relax and take the test at the doctors.

Hi, I'm 21 and I am about seven days late with my period. The only 'sex' I had this month was for about two minutes and he wasn't even inside of me. Only thing is he finished before this happened. We cleaned up with baby wipes, ironically enough. This happened on the eighth of June. As far as I...

I have been on the pill for years now and take it pretty regularly (although I did take a pill late one night this month).
