Plenty of hot but no cold.
It's been going on for a while but I seem to have plenty of hot water but very very little cold water. I turn the cold water on and it's just a little trickle but when I turn on the hot water, it goes full force. It's this way for the kitchen and both my bathrooms. The toilet also doesn't fill up and it's no cold water for my washer, dryer, or dishwasher either. I haven't tried anything because I don't know too much about plumbing and didn't want to screw it up more. The one thing I have done is check for freezing pipes and it's not that. If someone could please help, I would greatly appreciate it. I'll provide any information needed.

Since cold water feeds your hot water heating source and you have good hot water pressure you will find the problem to be AFTER the cold water main feeds the hot water heater. My guess is that you have a shut off after the water heater feed and that is clogged (if present, close and then reopen and see if that helped at all).
