Hi, I own a small plumbing service and have a problem I've never encountered before. I installed a new top vented gas water heater for a customer. Turned the main back on, bled air out of the lines, etc. Problem is there is no hot water pressure throughout the house. Cold water pressure is fine....

The shower in my ensuite is the highest flowing water in the house. Its on the regular hot water system (ie not a powered electric shower) It has a Mira control for hot and cold water. Hot water pressure in the shower has always been "weak" and hot water was always slow to start flowing. ...

When I turn on my hot water on any faucet in my house I get about 2 seconds of water then nothing. I have plenty of cold water and pressure.
