Very little hot water in guest bathroom, plenty of cold
I have very little hot water in the bathroom sink or the shower. However in the kitchen and mater bath the water is fine. What could be the cause of this and how can I fix it? :confused:I am female and widowed so must learn to fix these things myself if I can. SO please bear with me and you will have to explain very clearly! :)Thanks in advance.

Are you saying that you have low flow of hot water, (as in less pressure from the hot to the cold. ). Or does it just take a long time for hot water to reach the fixtures. I will try to help you figure this out, but I will have to ask some questions. Odds are that you will end up calling in a plumber, as this is not something that everyone can do, other wise we would be out of a job. I really want to help you out, but it can be hard to fix these type of problems over a computer. Please let me know more details, and hope this is a simple fix.

Yes, there is low flow of hot water when I turn it on in the bathroom sink but the cold water runs just fine. I would say on a scale of 1 to 5, that the hot water flow is a 1 and the cold water is 5+. Someone told me that the screens might need to be cleaned but I have no idea where they are! Oh and no problem in the water taking a long time to reach the fixtures, it comes right out, just very low volume. Thanks for your quick reply!

Do you have any idea what brand of faucet you are talking about, if not can you take a picture of the faucet and post it on here, if we could see it it is possible that we could guide you in the right direction.

When I turn on my hot water on any faucet in my house I get about 2 seconds of water then nothing. I have plenty of cold water and pressure. I've turned the breaker off at the hot water pump and back on. I've shut the hot water valve off numerous times and get the same issue. I've waited 30-45...
