    In a word, no.

The 37 year old is old enough to be her father and has no business wanting to date a teen. They are at very different points in their lives now and it will be worse in two years when she has greater expectations of freedom. He has been through his twenties, the primary time of exploring self and relationships. She hasn't.

She should be looking forward to college or starting her adult life instead of being concerned about the feelings of a man who could have dated her mother when her mother was her age.
