    Don't know what to do
Its been 52 days since my last period, ( June 21, 2013). It is now August 13, 2013. I've taken 5 hpt on the 1st and 3rd and then went and gotten a blood test on the 5th and all was negative and I have no clue what could be going on I didn't start stressing or worried about anything until today... I have no insurance and limited on funds due to husband only working. What should I do??

At 52 its very possible your period hasn't come because you are entering menopause. It doesn't come suddenly and there will be irregular periods and until its completely passed you do have a possibility of pregnancy. Even though tests right now indicat you aren't at this time.

Stress and health issues can cause you to miss your period. Especially when the stress is 'are you pregnant or not'

    52 days. Not age. Lol

How old are you? Smoothy is right, if you are older then your body could be changing.

Blood tests are pretty accurate. It could be something else. Could your parents help you out with a doctors visit?

I misread that as well... ( I admit it). Menopause at your age would be highly unusual... (not impossible however).

Problem is... something might be awry but without tests by the right doctors... all anyone would be doing is making guesses.

At 52 days late its not too late for a blood test... in fact those are accurate sooner than a typical HPT is. And you only have to be 14 days late for them to be accurate (when taken correctly). Are you confusing the blood test with a sonagram?

And being 52 days late without a pregnancy... something is certainly not right. Particularly since you don't have a history of irregular periods.

When I went to take the blood test the nurse told me that it is just as accurate as hpt and that it might be to early I have no clue. Just very worried something else could be wrong
