I believe what you are experiencing is somewhat normal as far as your symptoms. Anyone under extreme stress or stress for that matter will sometimes experience these feelings that you are having. Take Judy's advice and also if you want to keep writing, feel free. I only suggest this if you think this is helping. You are not going to die as you may feel at times. Take deep breathes in and oooooouuuut slowly. See if it helps in the meantime. But also do seek help if the problem persists and/or you feel you are losing control and still suffering. Remember, you will most likely survive my dear. It is very scary yes! Especially if you have never experienced this before.
Can you envision something, a place, person, thing, or a beautiful site that you can place yourself at? Visualization? Dream or think, in the meantime, a nice place you'd like to be or where you envision peace and happiness. This may or may not work but again, please reach out.
