    Thermostat for AC and Heating
I am looking for a new thermostat for my AC and Heating and I have replaced mine 3 times now and would like to know who makes top quality one's on the market?

I am tried of spending good money for High Priced Chap stiff that is Chinese junk.

Is there any made in America?

Why are you replacing them? They usually last "forever" unless you decide you want one with different features.

Because they all went bad, they no longer work.

I would not have one if they worked.

I am tied of buying junk from China.

Now do you know of a HIGH QUALITY one?

If you have had to replace your thermostat 3 times, something besides the thermostats, is at fault.
If you have hot water heat with heat motor type zone valves, some thermostats require an extra resistor be installed. Otherwise, I would start with replacing the thermostat wire with new of at least 18 gauge.

In my own house, I had to replace the wire in the attic with armored due to repeated mouse attacks despite "mouse proofing", traps, etc. I had to replace the wire every spring until I installed the armored cable.
