My 20 year old daughter will not speak to me
Dear All,
I am new to this site. I have separated from my wife (my infidelity) and been living in another house now for some 14 months. My 20 year old daughter has for the last couple of weeks cut off all her communication with me which includes not returning my calls and neither answering my text messages. I say to myself she is old enough to realise how much I love her and keep attempting to reach out to her on daily basis but nothing seems to work. To add insult to injury my ex-wife tells me how I can sleep when I do not talk with my own daughter and all the problems such as poor academic results the kids get,I am to blame. I admit that I brought confusion to the unity of the family but have never shied away from my responsibilities and arrange daily study periods to assist my 13 year old son but none appreciate anything. It hurts so much that sometimes I am too tired to move forward! Your help greatly appreciated. |
