    Boiler breakdown
    I have combination boiler installed approx 7 yrs ago. Never had prob till now. Boiler stopped firing. No hot water no heating. What could cause this?

    Too many things to mention MR, so you need to call in a qualified technician and let them look at the unit.

    If you look at the boiler unit you should see some numbers flashing on the screen. Look these numbers up in the installation manual (under troubleshooting) and that should give you a good idea of what to expect... ;)

    Thks. Boiler is a ferroli and flashes F5 or FS lost manual. Called ferroli they wouldn't help unless paid £150.00 for their engineer.

    Does anyone have ferroli boiler manual could they tell me what the following fault means... FS or F5 please

    I wouldn't be able to help you without the manual. None of the plumbers on the plumbing page will have that manual, either...
