    Drain test plumbing pop-up style
How do you test the pop-up style tub drain when you cannot even get a test ball down the overflow?

    Hi Hdaytona

You don't in most cases! In most cases, you test the drain system by disconnecting the overflow assembly from the drain system and you test the drain system via test ball, etc.

However, with that being said, some inspectors will allow you to fill the tub to above the overflow and call that good in some remodel situations... ;)

Let me know if this makes sense, OK?
