Pregnant woman throws two men off cliff
What’s this movie? I saw it on TV in the 80s or 90s. A dorky marine biologist from a rich, old money family has a pregnant wife. She might be the protagonist. Toward the end of the movie, they go for a hike with the rich family in the mountains. The wife gets separated from the group, and a man tries to throw her off a cliff, but in the struggle he falls off instead of her. The marine biologist husband then runs up, and also tries to throw her off the cliff, but he also falls off instead. In the end, the rich marine biologist’s mother, who always hated her daughter-in-law, now dotes on her, because the woman’s baby will be the last surviving heir for the family name and fortune.
