My furnace will run fine for a while then go into lockout (2 flashes). It goes into lockout when it tries to start up normally. It does everything normally except when I here the gas valve click it just doesn't light. No flame at all. Inducer, elec. Igniter work fine. I'm getting voltage to gas...
Furnace is a TUY080R9V3V and is 11 years old. Beginning last year, it would not produce heat... no flame. This year it is happening more often with a code of 2 flashes=EXTERNAL LOCKOUT (RETRIES OR RECYCLES EXCEEDED). I am thinking the hot surface ignitor might be the culprit or the flame...
T-State is calling, vent fan is running, blower fan is running, have gas and valves open.. . But ignitor doesn't glow.. . Checked voltage to it and have less than 12V.. . What next?
I have trane gas Furnace and its stopped working the pilot is not working its keep shutting off and also the switch on and off is working but the pilot and burner is not working what should I do ?:(
