Theft under 5000 in ontario first offense
Same thing happened to me last Friday, I got caught stealing $450 worth of items in hudson bay mall, two undercover arrested me, they got my information but I gave them a wrong address and a wrong phone number. But they got my right name because they happened to check it in the immigration. I have scheduled this nov 13 to do fingerprinting & picture taking. Ill be on court this coming 21st of November.

    *I'm a first offender
    *21 years old
*permanent resident in canada (so could this affect my application of citizenship?)
*no money to pay a lawyer.

    PLEASE I NEED ANSWER

I don't want to be in jail.

But you lied to them twice ! Phony address and phone number, plus
You are here under the good grace of our Canadian Immigration system as a permanent resident and you have the nerve to steal !

Yes, you are going to be finger printed and yes it will effect your application for citizenship. I could go on and on, but I won't because I am getting madder by the minute typing this.

You haven't even got a job ! I hope they throw the book at you.
