What size thermocouple for old Janitrol furnace?
I have a VERY old Janitrol furnace in my home, and the thermocouple has apparently gone bad. I've called the local supplier of parts for Janitrol but he said it's such an old model number that he isn't sure what size thermocouple it would take because the model number isn't listed in their computers or books. He didn't even believe I was giving him the correct model number at first so I had to email him a picture. In any event, is there anyone out there that can tell me what thermocouple I need for a Janitrol furnace model number 19-125? Thanks so much!

Back in the day there were not that many different thermocouples used on heating units and almost all of them are still available today. If you can post a picture we can tell you where to get one.

Yep, pretty basic back then. Only difference would be length. You should be able to just get a 30" and leave the left over coiled up. I promise you can still get a thermocouple for that unit.
