    Bipolar
    My partner, 27ys old is taking bipolar meds but he is having anger attacks he gets filled with rage and wants me to hit him, I refuse, but then he hurts himself, it's when he drinks spirits he is drinking a lot, How can I help him? What can I do? Renee 28yrs

    A start point is to review the information sheet for the medication and determine the advisability of alcohol use. Excessive drinking is always contraindicated and probably interferes with the prescribed dosage. It is safe to say that both substances directly alter brain function.
