Electric clutch on john deere 145
I was cutting grass on my John Deere 145 when it just quit. I looked underneath and the wires going to the cluch where riped off. The fuse was blown too. I changed the fuse and it starts but what made the wires rip off?

    Hi,
Sometimes it has to do with the stay on the left side(wires are on the right.) It should be vertical and the clutch should move slightly in it. Sometimes it is the wires were badly routed or something got pulled into them by the belt. Usually it does not break them off flush with the clutch and they can be repaired. If flush then I am afraid it means a clutch.
    Peace,
    Clarke
