    My ex and I broke up about a month ago, said he needed time?
    I didn't give him that time for the first two weeks stupid I know but by the third I did he finally contacted me we have been talking since and stated we need to work on us being friends and go from there! We were together for two and a half years what do I do? Do I take working on our friendship and give us time or do I stand firm and tell him it's all or nothing?

    Options after being dumped.

    Disappear. Have nothing to do with him, and don't allow him to contact you. When you get dumped, act like it. Ignore him.
