    Unit comes on even when setpoint and inside temp are the same(heat)
    Temp set point-68, inside temp 68. Unit is a TWE036P130B0, thermostat-honeywell TH5000 series. Unit will come on (sometimes on aux heat)and stays running unless manually lower setpoint. Not sure why sometimes it comes on aux heat. Outside temp in upper 50's. Running continiously even when setpoint on inside temp are the same but air feels cooler than heat.

    You could have 1 or 2 problems. If a defrost board or defrost thermostat is bad on the heat pump you will get this symptom. But on the other hand a bad thermostat will act the same. This is one of those questions that is hard to help on without a 24v diagnostic test.

    Thermostat under warranty. Will replace and see if that fixes problem.
