    Abandoment of property for nonpayment
    Sold property on contract for deed. The tenants are four months behind on payment and have abandondand the property. The contract is recordecd and I need to record such document. Or is it an affidavit? Which is it and how to write one.

    What does the contract say?

    Essentially you send them a letter to their last known address, giving them 30 days to remove their property or it will be considered abandoned and disposed of.
