Hello I have a Whirlpool 29" Electric Dryer LER6646PW0 that keeps shutting off before the cycle was over. Playing with the Timer Knob and hitting the start would get it going again but then it would just stop again. The Timer would advance but it would just stop after 5 minutes. After reading up on the web and I replaced the Thermal fuse in the back and cleaned out all of the lint. Put it back together and it started working like new. Then the 3rd load of clothes it started up again. I was to play with Timer Knob and Starter to get it going but it's just dead. When I advance the Timer Knob I can hear a faint hum but that's it. There is power going to the unit. Now could this be the Motor that is out? And how to you exactly check for the Motor? I'm hoping for a easy door switch or something like this. Please help.
